This is a text Analysis of American Psycho, in this I have look at the text used in the opening sequence, which is in the same sub-genre as ours. However this is physiological thriller, but has mystery to it.
American Psycho
American Psycho is one of many that do not use the title in the action part of the opening sequence. The text used in this opening sequence is quite bold and plain. The text is also tall and thin. As American Psycho is about the daily life of wealthy young investment banker Patrick Bateman this could represent him and how he is wealthy and how he feels that he is better than everyone else.
The text was quite fast paced and only had a small gap between the next set of words. The opening sequence did not have the casts names however is did have the crews names and the director etc.
