Evaulation On Preliminary Task

How well do you think you created your Preliminary?
We believe as a group we worked very well together, we completed the task in a short amount of time and were able to edit the task successfully using the Final Cut software.

Did you stick to the brief? How long was your preliminary?
In relation to the shots shown on the brief it was able to help us develop our task. However we did not accomplish the time length which was set for 30 seconds as we went over by 27 seconds. This was able to show our creative skills and develop our thinking.

Did you find it difficult to use the technology and what technology did you use?
The technology we used was A Cannon video camera, A tripod to hold the camera and a camera shoe to connect the camera to the tripod. Also during editing we used Final Cut Pro software and a mac computer.  We found the Cannon video camera very straight forward and easy to manage. However we struggled with the tripod to make the shot an even level and the camera falling sideways. Final Cut was easy to use once it was explained in depth detail.

What did you learn from the task that you would use for your actual production?
During this task we learnt that we have good team work skills and creative ideas. Also we learnt that the camera and final cut is not as hard to use as we thought it was.
